DECEMBER 21, 2018:  LPS, LLC Client is GRANTED a Certificate of Appealability on two questions posed in the Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. New appellate Counsel has been appointed.

November 30, 2018:  LPS, LLC Client is GRANTED relief via Rule 59(e) F. R. Civ. P. to Alter or Amend in th USDC Western District of Louisiana. 28 USC §2241 is REINSTATED!

July 24, 2018:   LPS, LLC Client is GRANTED COA from the Fifth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeas and Case is REMANDED back to the District Court for Statement of Reasons for Summary Dismissal.

May 14, 2018: LPS, LLC Client is GRANTED evidentiary hearing on one claim of innefective assistance of council during plea negotiations.

May 3, 2018: LPS, LLC Client is GRANTED a Certificate of Appeal ability on two issues involving "mailbox rule" and failure to file a direct appeal.

February 9, 2018:   LPS, LLC Client gets REMANDED from the Sixth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals to the U.S. District Court Western District of Tennessee to determine if a COA should be GRANTED. More to come!

January 4, 2018: LPS, LLC Client is GRANTED COA in the Sixth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on all three questions submitted involving prior convictions and application of the Career Offender Enhancement. More to come!

October 10, 2017: LPS, LLC Client seeks vacature of conviction ad sentence and is GRANTED an EVIDENTIARY HEARING on one claim of ineffective assistance of counsel in the USDC Central District of California.

October 2, 2017: LPS, LLC Client GRANTED an EVIDENTIARY HEARING on equitable tolling of §2255 deadline and on claim that plea (which resulted in 90-year sentence) was not knowingly, intelligently, and voluntarily entered. U.S.D.C. Eastern District of New York.

July 5, 2017: LPS, LLC Client is appointed counsel and GRANTED an EVIDENTIARY HEARING on one claim of ineffective assistance of counsel for failure to pursue application of the Safety Valve in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas. 

June 27, 2017: LPS. LLC Client is appointed counsel and GRANTED an EVIDENTIARY HEARING on one claim of ineffective assistance of counsel for failing to file a Notice of Appeal in the U.S. District Court of Hawaii. 

May 11, 2017:   LPS Attorney mitigates Aggravated Robbery sentence. Client facing Maxium of LIFE. Judge imposes 10 year Deferred Adjudication Probation. Case will be dismissed upon successful completion of probation. Congratulations Counselor!

April 6, 2017:   LPS Client GRANTED EVIDENTIARY HEARING on claim of ineffective assistance of counsel in the USDC Eastern District of Texas.
 
March 17, 2017:   LPS Attorney retained and Client is GRANTED EVIDENTIARY HEARING on multiple ineffective assistance of counsel claims in the USDC Central District of Illinois.
 
October 6, 2016:   President Obama Commutes LIFE sentence of LPS Client to 322 months! Clemency petition filed FOUR YEARS ago! Client has served 14 years.

August 25, 2016:   LPS Attorney gets  NOT GUILTY VERDICT in Criminal Case for former Texas Police Chief in carrying aweapon  on a liquor license premises! Congratulations Counselor!

June 22, 2016:    LPS Client GRANTED LEAVE TO FILE SECOND OR SUCCESSIVE 28 USC §2255 in the United States District Court for District of North Dakota by the Eighth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. More to Come.
                                                        
April 5, 2016:   LPS Client is GRANTED A CERTIFICATE OF APPEALABILITY  "COA" at the Eleventh U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on a single claim of ineffective assistance of counsel. IFP status GRANTED. Briefing has been set.

February 17, 2016:   LPS Client gets LIFE Sentence Reduced to 360 Months on USSG Amendment 782 Motion in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of North Carolina.

January 21, 2016:     LPS Attorney gets 420 Month sentence and conviction REVERSED, VACATED AND REMANDED from the Fifth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas on Fourth Amendment claim!!! After Government motion to dismiss client gets IMMEDIATE RELEASE!

December 9, 2015:    LPS Team assists attorney and Client gets "COA" GRANTED at the Fifth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals and case gets REMANDED to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas for fact finding on claim of ineffective assistance of counsel.

June 11, 2015:      Client case gets REMANDED from the Third U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania to determine whether a COA should issue.

April 27, 2015:      Client is GRANTED A CERTIFICATE OF APPEALABILITY  (“COA”) at the Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. IFP status GRANTED, Attorney has been appointed and briefing schedule set.

April 07, 2015:     After filing 28 U.S.C. §2255 Motion to Vacate in the District Court for the Central District of California,  Client is GRANTED IFP status and direct appeal reinstated with newly appointed counsel.

March 30, 2015:     LPS Team assists Attorney and Client is GRANTED an evidentiary hearing via 28 U.S.C. §2255 Motion to Vacate in the District Court for the Western District of North Carolina.

October 16, 2014:   LPS Client case gets REMANDED from the Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California at Oakland to determine whether a COA should issue.

August 5, 2014:    LPS Client is GRANTED relief after 28 U.S.C. §2255 evidentiary hearing in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. Sentence and Obstruction of Justice Enhancement Vacated.

June 25, 2014:      LPS Client is GRANTED an evidentiary hearing via 28 U.S.C. §2255 Motion to Vacate in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. New attorney appointed.

May 9, 2014:       LPS Client is RESENTENCED to 24 month REDUCTION after he is GRANTED relief and gets application of the Safety-Valve under USSG, §5C1.2 in the District Court for the Western District of Washington.

April 2, 2014:       LPS Client is GRANTED a second STAY of 28 U.S.C. §2254 federal habeas claims in the District Court for the Central District of California pursuant to Kelly v. Small, 315 F.3d 1063 (9th Cir. 2003), to exhaust his ineffective assistance of counsel claims at theCalifornia Supreme Court .

March 28, 2014:     LPS Client moves to voluntarily dismiss appeal at the Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Grant of COA from the U.S. District Court of the District of Oregon and government files motion for early termination of sentence via 28 U.S.C. §2255. District Court GRANTS the motion and Client gets IMMEDIATE RELEASE!

March 6, 2014:    LPS Client is GRANTED a COA in the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon on one of three issues submitted in 28 U.S.C. §2255 request for COA. Case heads to the Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for determination of constitutional claim.

February 5, 2014:      LPS Client is GRANTED relief after §2255 evidentiary hearing in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington. Client will receive §5C1.2, USSG  Safety Valve Reduction after proffer. Expected 24+ Month Sentence reduction. 

December 9, 2013:     LPS LLC Client finally awarded 50 Month Sentence Reduction via Rule 35(b), Fed. R. Crim. P., after filing §2255 Motion to Vacate and waiting almost 4 years on AUSA promise to file in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Illinois.

November 13, 2013:  LPS Client is GRANTED an evidentiary hearing via 28 U.S.C. §2255 Motion to Vacate in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.  New attorney appointed. 

October 31, 2013:  LPS Client is GRANTED an evidentiary hearing via §2255 Motion to Vacate in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia. New Attorney appointed.

October 21, 2013:  LPS Client is GRANTED an evidentiary hearing via 28 U.S.C. §2255 Motion to Vacate in the U.S. District Court for the District of Alaska. New attorney appointed.

October 2, 2013:  LPS Client is GRANTED an indefinite STAY of his 28 U.S.C. §2254 federal habeas claims in the District Court for the Central District of California pursuant to Rhines v. Weber, 544 U.S. 269 (2005), while Eighth Amendment Claims are exhausted in State Courts! 

August 15, 2013:  LPS Client awarded more than 40% SENTENCE REDUCTION via Rule 35(b), F.R.Cr.P., in the Northern District of Mississippi after filing §2255 Motion to Vacate and waiting more than three years.

July 25, 2013: LPS LLC Client (and co-defendant)  are GRANTED an evidentiary hearing via  §2255 Motion to Vacate in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan. Attorney appointed. 

July 1, 2013:    LPS Client is GRANTED COA at the Fifth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans and gets case REMANDED to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas in 28 USC §2255 case. 

May 24, 2013:    LPS Client Attorney is GRANTED an Evidentiary Hearing for 28 U.S.C. §2255 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Virginia.

May 23, 2013:   On Direct Appeal to the Seventh U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, after oral argument, Client gets Case REVERSED and REMANDED for RESENTENCING to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. LPS assisted attorney on the briefs and sentencing memorandum. (Published Case: 716 F.3d at 999).

March 20, 2013:   LPS Client is GRANTED an evidentiary hearing via §2255 Motion to Vacate in the U.S. District Court for the District of Hawaii. Attorney appointed.

March 6, 2013:   LPS Client finally awarded 60 MONTH REDUCTION via Rule 35(b), Fed. R.Crim. P. after filing §2255 Motion to Vacate in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi.

February 25, 2013:  LPS assists Attorney and Client is GRANTED Oral Arguments at the Seventh U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Chicago on direct appeal of conviction and sentence. Attorney will argue for Client assisted by LPS.

February 13, 2013: LPS Client WINS §2255 Motion to Vacate and gets Direct Appeal rights reinstated in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. 

February 5, 2013:  LPS Client is GRANTED an evidentiary hearing via §2255 Motion to Vacate in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington. New attorney appointed.

October 2, 2012:   LPS Client WINS §2255 Motion to Vacate in the District Court for the Southern District of Texas and gets Direct Appeal rights reinstated.

September 28, 2012:  LPS Client is successful at the Fifth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Application for COA. The Court of Appeals VACATED the District Court for the Eastern District of Texas' judgment denying Client's §2255 Motion and REMANDED with instructions. 

September 20, 2012:  LPS  Client is GRANTED a COA on all three issues submitted in 28 U.S.C. §2255 Case at the District Court for the Eastern District of New York. 

April 10, 2012:   LPS Team assists attorney with Sentencing Memorandum and PSIR Objections in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Government seeking 51+ month sentence, Client is sentenced to 30 Months! Congratulations to client attorney!

February 8, 2012:     After REMAND from the Fifth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, LPS, LLC Client WINS 28 U.S.C. §2255 Motion to Vacate on sentencing issue and federal benefits!! 

January 18, 2012:     LPS Client is sentenced to 1 Year and 1 Day in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois after Team prepared Sentencing Memorandum! Government was seeking 27-33 months! 

November 22, 2011:  LPS Team assists Attorney and Client WINS REMAND to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Illinois on restitution issue in tax case on direct appeal from the Seventh U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals (Publised Case: 663 F. 3d at 906).

October 24, 2011:  LPS Client gets case REMANDED from the Fifth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas on Application for COA after briefing.

September 27, 2011:  LPS assists Attorney and gets client case REMANDED from the Fourth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Richmond, Virginia to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina to consider whether to issue a Certificate of Appealability in Rule 60(b), Fed. R. Civ. P. Case. 

August 9, 2011:   LPS Team assists Attorney and Client is GRANTED Oral Arguments at the Seventh U. S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Chicago on direct appeal of conviction and sentence. (Published Case: 666 F.3d at 1053).

August 1, 2011:   LPS assists Attorney and Client is GRANTED Oral Arguments at Seventh U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Chicago on direct appeal of conviction and sentence.  (Published Case: 663 F.3d 906).

July 7, 2011:     LPS Client is GRANTED COA on two of three issues submitted to the Fifth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in 28 U.S.C. §2255 Case!  Not only did the Court GRANT COA as to issues raised, but took the extraordinary step of asking an additional question for briefing! 

March 1, 2011:   LPS Team assists Attorney and  Client is GRANTED Oral Arguments at the Second U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New York on direct appeal of conviction and sentence. (419 Fed. Appx. at 27).

October 5, 2010:  LPS Client gets REMAND from the Fourth U. S. Circuit Court of Appeals  to the U.S. District Court in Maryland to consider whether to issue a Certificate of Appealability in 28 U.S.C. §2255 Motion to Vacate Case.

September 3, 2010:  LPS assists Attorney and is GRANTED Rehearing in Illinois Appellate Court for Client in Health-Care Fraud Case. Hard work rewarded.

June 1, 2010:  LPS Client WINS 28 U.S.C. §3582(c)(2) Motion for Reduction of Sentence in the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas at Topeka! Client gets 62 MONTH REDUCTION! A sentence of 65 months less than the government asked for.

May 10, 2010:  LPS Client gets ONE-YEAR pre-trial adjudication in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas and avoids felony criminal indictment in medicare case.

December 29, 2009:   LPS Client gets REVERSAL by the Fifth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals of dismissal for lack of standing and failure to exhaust administrative remedies in 28 U.S.C. §2241 habeas corpus case from the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas!!!

November 13, 2009:  LPS Client in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Illinois to get further sentence REDUCTION of 50+ months and agrees to withdraw 28 U.S.C. §2255 Motion alleging ineffective assistance of counsel! BIG WIN for client that has already been granted 40 month reduction! 

November 02, 2009:  LPS Client gets REVERSAL by the Fifth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals of dismissal in 28 USC §2241 habeas corpus case from the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.

October 29, 2009:   LPS Client SETS PRECEDENT in Fifth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals RDAP challenge and sets stage for Supreme Court review! ( Handley v. Chapman, 587 F.3d 273 )(VACATED & RENDERED). 

October 14, 2009:   LPS Client gets 22 Months at Sentencing when Guidelines & Government recommended 70-87 Months in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas!! LPS prepared the Sentencing Memorandum for attorney client. 

August 24, 2009:  LPS Client WINS 105 Month Sentence Reduction via belated Rule 35(b) F.R.Cr.P. Motion from the Government on 210 Month sentence in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas!

July 29, 2009:   LPS Assistance WINS evidentiary hearing for client in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Illinois via 28 U.S.C. §2255.

June 1, 2009: LPS Client WINS Crack Cocaine RE-SENTENCING! On May 27, 2009, in the U.S.  District Court for the Southern District of Illinois, by Agreed Motion, VACATED 204 month sentence and RE-SENTENCED to a term of 164 months. A FORTY MONTH reduction!

June 18, 2008:  LPS Client gets Evidentiary Hearing GRANTED after filing 28 U.S.C. §2255 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas.

December 15, 2007:  LPS Client gets IMMEDIATE RELEASE after filing 28 U.S.C.§2241 Habeas Corpus Petition in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky against the B.O.P. and the U.S. Parole Commission.
